I read your post and found it very engaging. Everything you said resonated very clearly. I very much look forward to your future writing.
Since I didn’t know your former name I can only say that this new one does indeed have a nice ring.
We have three rescued cats and two large crazy dogs. We are animal people and are at home with the fur ball strewn everything. I have considered them like tumbleweeds along the baseboards. It is an exercise in futility to keep them away.
I love summer a bit less as I am old now and the heat is harder than the cooler air of transitional seasons. I love Spring most because it is such a marvel to witness the rebirth of the flora and fauna. Magic really and the return of migratory birds is always a treat.
I'm a tad late, but congrats on the name change and seven months aboard Substack! It's so nice to read the innerworkings of creatives' minds and worlds!
What a wonderful post! I'm proud to say I've read you since the very first time, and I remember every post you linked in this one. I always do two periods of "life" revision, one is in the new year when every day is about to come and everything seems to be new, and the other period is in summer. In this time it feels like the school holidays when I was a child. Plenty of time for doing what you want to do, days warmer and longer, travelling... and also time to look back and see what have you achieved. Nowadays I don't have that amount of free time, but the feeling is the same.
Is good to know you have lots of things to tell us, and I'm looking forward to read you again this week!
And know that I appreciate you immensely, Sara! That’s right, you’re one of my very first readers on here. That feels very awesome, to have someone follow my writing for all this time. I’m also glad the summer reflection thing struck a chord with you! Happy weekend!

Good luck and blessings to you.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment, Maureen!
So lovely to hear about your cats and dogs. And the point about transitional seasons, I can get behind that.
My favourite season is autumn, I love pretty much everything about it.
Blessings to you too and I look forward to having you as a reader!

Thanks for reading and commenting, Cierra! It means a lot, truly.
Absolutely! :)

Thanks for the shout-out, Andrei! I love this reintroduction to you and I hope this becomes a thing that other writers do too
